Recently, Ron Eslinger, owner and Director of the Healthy Visions Wellness Center announced that the center will be offering a free introductory seminar on the myths and misconceptions of hypnotism while explaining the many benefits it brings in honor of World Hypnotism Day.

Wednesday, January 4th is the day when professionals in the field of hypnotism from various organizations around the world will be sharing expertise and promoting the truths and benefits of hypnotism. The popularity and benefits of hypnotism increases daily as we have read and heard the headlines in Newsweek, Good Housekeeping, Canadian Living, Shape, O magazine and on popular syndicated television shows. Now it’s time to come out and learn more about how hypnotism can help you, especially for your New Years resolutions. Mr. Eslinger says that the free seminar on hypnosis will cover topics such as what it is, how it works, what it can be used for as well as how we all use self-hypnosis with out knowing it. This is a fun and interactive seminar and will be held at the Healthy Visions Wellness Center, Jackson Plaza in Oak Ridge. About Hypnotism:

In 1958 the American Medical Association endorsed hypnosis and hypnotherapy as a legitimate treatment tool for pain, stress and relaxation management, weight loss, smoking cessation, childbirth, preparing for surgery, as well as overcoming fears of medical, dental and other hospital procedures. It is natural and free of side effects, when conducted by a certified competent practitioner the results are long lasting and often permanent.

Guidelines of Practice:

The National Guild of Hypnotists has ethical guidelines which all members must adhere to. Even though NGH Hypnotists do not require professional medical or mental health credentials a great number of their members are credentialed in health care professions as is Mr. Eslinger. Non physician hypnotists do not diagnose disease, but do use hypnosis as an adjunct to conventional medical or mental health interventions. Hypnotists use a unique non-diagnostic language with clients in order to help them achieve the healthy change they desire.

About Ron Eslinger:

Healthy Visions Wellness Center Director, Ron Eslinger, is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Advanced Practice Nurse, Master of Arts, Board Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Instructor of Hypnosis and Certified Instructor for the National Guild of Hypnotists.

A retired Captain in the US Navy, Ron developed the Complementary Care Clinic and introduced HypnoBirthing to the field of obstetrics at the Portsmouth Naval Medical Center. At the Navy’s Beaufort, SC facility he developed a hypnosis program for Health Promotions. He was a member of the Editorial Board for CRNA and The Clinical Forum for Nurse Anesthetists. He published four articles, three on medical hypnosis. He is past President of the Virginia Association of Nurse Anesthetists and he served as the Program Chairman of the South Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthetists. He is currently Vice President, Region 2 of the Tennessee Nurses Association.

Ron lectures extensively to medical and nursing organizations on Hypnosis, Stress Management, Anesthesia, HIV/AIDS, and Bioterrorism. He is frequent faculty to Clemson University’s Annual Continuing Nurse Education Conferences, Gatlinburg, the Nurse Anesthesiology Faculty Association, Frank Moya, CRNA Annual Review Course, and the Association of Women’s Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing.

He is recognized by many in the media as a “source” for expert opinion in the field of hypnotherapy and issues concerning non-pharmacological pain management, and he regularly meets with medical and wellness professionals to enhance their knowledge and awareness of hypnosis and its dynamic potential. He has done numerous Radio and TV interviews, and recently interviewed by Harpers Magazine and Advanced Nursing

Ron is the recipient of many awards including instructor of the month, Researcher of the Year and the prestigious NGH Presenter of the Year Ormond McGill Chair. He was also nominated by the US Navy to represent the Department of Defense on the National Institutes of Health’s committee on Complementary and Alternative Medicine.

Mr. Eslinger has accepted the invitation to be the Keynote Speaker at Great Britain’s National Council for Hypnotherapy annual meeting and will be delivering his address to their members there in June of 2006.

The Center for Mind-Body Medicine Congratulates and Supports PBS’ New Show ‘The New Medicine’

The Center for Mind-Body Medicine Congratulates and Supports PBS’ New Show ‘The New Medicine’

Washington, DC (PRWEB) March 29, 2006

The Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM) congratulates PBS on their documentary, ‘The New Medicine.’ This program “explores a burgeoning movement taking place in hospitals and clinics across the country: integrating the best of high-tech medicine with a new attitude that recognizes it is essential to the healing process to treat the patient as a whole person, and not a cog in an assembly line.”

Supporting the American health-care system so patients are not treated like cogs is central to CMBM’s philosophies. The Center is at the leading edge of the movement that ‘The New Medicine’ discusses – to integrate scientifically based, complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) into the American medical model.

The Center’s effective and very original approach is to train medical school teachers and doctors in mind-body medicine so that they may pass these strategies along. This approach gives these professionals fortunate to train at CMBM’s intensive, small-group programs, first-hand knowledge in mind-body medicine. These transformative experiences have shifted many of the thousands of graduates of these programs towards healthier and more integrative ways of being – as well as the lives of these professionals’ clients and students.

The director of CMBM, Dr. James Gordon, M.D., is America’s leading authority on integrating mind-body medicine into traditional health-care systems such as hospitals, clinics and medical schools. “In the last 35 years, we have begun to realize the shortcomings of biomedicine and realize that we are losing the wars on cancer, hypertension, arthritis, depression, and AIDS. In contrast, CMBM and ‘The New Medicine’ understands that each of us is a unique and whole person and insists that healing be a fully collaborative partnership in which teaching predominates over treatment, and it regards self-care – particularly through self-awareness, relaxation, meditation, nutrition and exercise – as the true primary care.”

In addition to offering nutritional training in their Food As Medicine™ program and cancer support in their CancerGuides™ programs, respectively, the Center for Mind-Body Medicine has used its holistic medical techniques all over the world to help war-ravaged and traumatized peoples in Israel, Gaza, Kosovo, and right here in America after 9/11 and Katrina. CMBM is a resource for practitioners and professionals looking for CAM material, training and guidance.

The Center for Mind-Body medicine has trained thousands of medical professionals around the world as well as helped to heal thousands more refugees and victims of war and terror using mind-body medicine. Through scientifically-based and proven techniques they broaden the traditional medical model and bring a new pattern of healing to the world. PBS is congratulated on how well it is documenting these successes.

For additional information on the Center for Mind-Body Medicine and its position on CAM in the American health-care system, please contact Dr. James Gordon, M.D., Director or visit http://www.CMBM.org.

The Center for Mind-Body Medicine (http:/http://www.CMBM.org) is the world’s leader in mind-body medicine education, certification and outreach. It supports the American health-care and medical education system and backs outreach in many of the world’s terror and war ravaged locations.

The Bay Area Non-Smoking Center Offers Lifetime Guarantee on Smoking Cessation

The Bay Area Non-Smoking Center Offers Lifetime Guarantee on Smoking Cessation

Ken Guzzo feels everyone deserves to be smoke free.

Oakland, CA (Vocus/PRWEB) February 18, 2011

The Bay Area Non-Smoking Center’s Stop Smoking program offers sessions to help clients quit smoking naturally through advanced hypnosis. Founded in 2006 by Ken Guzzo, CHt., this small company has been helping Bay Area residents quit smoking naturally, with no drugs, no cravings and no withdrawals. After over 2,000 successes, the Bay Area Non-Smoking Center is so sure the technique works, they offer a lifetime guarantee that if the urge to smoke or chew tobacco comes back, now or in the future, a free session will be awarded.

“We combine our newly developed neurological process with the most advanced hypnosis techniques to eliminate cravings for tobacco completely from the system. Smokers and tobacco chewers walk in, and two hours later walk out as though they had never smoked. They experience no cravings, no withdrawal, and it’s easy,” says founder Ken Guzzo.

The two-hour session is broken down into three phases. Phase One is education: every step of the process is explained before it begins so the client feels like a full partner in the process, is comfortable, knows the science of the process and there are no surprises.

In Phase Two, Ken works with the neurological or electrical system of the client’s mind and body to identify, reverse and clear the problem. The client’s own body unmistakably indicates that the problem is gone. The client is a non-smoker before he or she sits in the chair for the hypnosis.

In Phase Three, the client relaxes in a comfortable chair, listens and when they open their eyes, the person is naturally restored to their smoke-free state.

San Francisco Bay Area Non Smoking Center Announces Prime Potential ? Program for Accelerating Evolution by Integrating Science, Psychology, and Spirituality

San Francisco Bay Area Non Smoking Center Announces Prime Potential ® Program for Accelerating Evolution by Integrating Science, Psychology, and Spirituality

Prime Potential® is designed to activate life-altering transformation.

Oakland, CA (Vocus/PRWEB) March 02, 2011

Prime Potential® is a powerful, life-changing process that assists people in identifying what is in their blind spot and metaphorically “locking up” a person’s system. Its revolutionary technology assists the nervous system to release core constrictions, which are not just in the mind or thinking, but stored in the body.

Ken says, “Every constriction is actually located in a person’s nervous system and when they release these blocks at the cellular level, profound changes occur. Whether someone feels like their energy, creativity or passion is being crushed, or they feel trapped, lost, or overwhelmed, it’s all logged in the nervous system.”

Clearing these constrictions, so the whole physical and emotional system can run smoothly, is the focus of Prime Potential®.

“Addressing deep challenges requires a holistic approach, including body, mind, and spirit,” said Guzzo. “This approach must be more than mere philosophy—it must extend to application and life-long integration.””

Prime Potential® is designed to activate life-altering transformation that helps people identify and move beyond core constrictions which negatively affect their current health, well-being and performance. Over the course of a three-month period Ken facilitates individuals releasing past and present blocks that have been getting in the way of them living a life of confidence, joy and ease.

“Since the first session with Ken I have found myself excelling at work, becoming one of the top sales representatives in my company; top 5 in the country out of 500,” says Daniel O’Rourke.

The outworking, or effect of this kind of deep work is a profound shift in the way in which people are able to approach life, and work through the myriad of issues that daily life presents with ease and grace.

Once benchmarks have been established there is a thorough explanation of how the client has been sabotaging themselves, and what fears are driving the sabotage pattern. It is from this point that Ken Guzzo and client work together to identify the specific fears locked in the nervous system.

They then clear those fears, releasing the constrictions that have been jamming the system. Explained in more detail in the Psychology of our Work, the nervous system is like a personal, internal security system, and the alarm, once triggered, stays on alert watching for anything that may pose a threat. Having been cleared, the system is free to establish a new foundation from which to operate. All of this occurs in the first session.

“After 30 years of personal growth practice, I thought I’d experienced it all,” said Bill Chalmers. “Prime Potential® blew this myth completely out of the water. What a profound, life-altering, confronting, uprooting, belief-busting way to live life! Delightful and wonderful…always revealing and sometimes disturbing…and ongoingly inspiring, invigorating, and revitalizing. Thank you!”

For further inquiries about Prime Potential®, or any other the other programs that Bay Area Non Smoking Center offers please contact them by phone at (800) 635-8150, or visit them at their website http://www.nonsmokingcenterbayarea.com, to book online.

Pittsburgh Hypnosis Weight Loss Center Gives Local Woman an Extreme Makeover from the Inside Out

Pittsburgh Hypnosis Weight Loss Center Gives Local Woman an Extreme Makeover from the Inside Out

Dan Vitchoff, PA Hypnosis Center

Pittsburgh PA (PRWEB) June 4, 2009

Greater Pittsburgh area resident, Dona Weber hoped she would lose weight when she began working with Dan Vitchoff and Catie Dologos at the PA Hypnosis Center, but she never expected what happened next. Dona says, “If anyone would have told me, September of 2008 that I would feel this good, body, mind, and spirit, on May of 2009, I would never have believed them.”

Weight loss hypnosis at the PA Hypnosis Center helped Dona Weber shed more than 70 pounds over the past eight months, but as her lifestyle habits have changed, Dona admits that the most dramatic changes have been in her self-perception and her attitude. “Because of PA Hypnosis Center’s Hypnosis Weight Loss Program, I now have this warm and cozy feeling inside of me and that makes me feel like the sun is shining on the inside and the outside.”

A dramatic change for Dona and a more positive outlook in today’s challenging world, but not surprising according to others who have been to this Pittsburgh hypnosis center for help in safely and effectively changing their lives forever. In Dona Weber’s case, weight loss hypnosis and mental coaching at the PA Hypnosis Center has been life altering and transformational, “People … keep telling me that I am a completely different person (because of hypnosis) and they would like to have some of what I have found.”

Before working with Dan Vitchoff, MS Ed., and Catie Dolgos, CHt. at PA Hypnosis Center Dona had tried just about everything to lose weight including diet pills, shakes, liquid diets and organized diet program and nothing had worked for her. Until recently, she had been an emotional eater. Now, clinical hypnosis has helped her learn to deal with her emotions more directly instead of using food as comfort. Exercise has become part of her daily routine, she explains, “I exercise every day and I no longer think about if I like it or not; I just do it.”

Dan Vitchoff, MS Ed., CHt. is a Board Certified and Licensed Hypnotherapist, a highly sought Mental Training and Performance Coach, and the founder of the PA Hypnosis Center. His documented work with US Olympic athletes, Walton Glenn Eller and Vincent Hancock helped them claim Olympic gold in Beijing. Catherine Dolgos (Catie) is a Certified Consulting Hypnotherapist and Fitness and Nutrition Specialist with an extensive background in health and wellness. Together they have helped thousands of clients change their lives with hypnosis

.

Vitchoff explains, “Dona’s weight loss and life changes are wonderful, but they are not unique. At our Pittsburgh hypnosis center, we see this happen every day as people lose weight, stop smoking, and change other lifelong habits, using the same powerful strategies I developed for use with Olympic athletes.” Catie Dolgos, who also works with Dona, points out that mental training is a proven tool that top athletes, legendary entrepreneurs, and other success icons who compete in high-pressure situations rely on to give them the edge over their opponents and the mental focus they need to accomplish their goals.

Dona seems to be telling her story to everyone she meets these days. “Now that Dan and Catie (at the PA Hypnosis Center) have helped me to retrain my mind to think differently, this automatically led me to a dramatic body change.” Dona says, “I now have a very healthy, much thinner body, and more energy than I have had in many years … this has gotten me to the absolute best part of all, the beautiful change in my spirit.” With a dynamic and genuine smile, she adds, “I feel so good about myself, I just can’t seem to quit smiling. I don’t even have to work at this because it is just happening for me. I know that this will stay with me for the rest of my life.”

PA Hypnosis Center’s Hypnosis Weight Loss Programs can help you eliminate cravings for specific foods, overcome a sugar or chocolate addiction, put an end to self-sabotaging behaviors such as nighttime eating, stress eating, and emotional eating and create a natural desire and motivation for exercise. Pittsburgh Hypnosis Experts Dan Vitchoff and Catie Dolgos can individualize a hypnosis program to help you improve in the following areas: Weight Loss, Smoking Cessation, Reduce Stress, Tension and Anxiety, Overcome Fears, Phobias, Insomnia, Enhance Sports Performance, Build Self Confidence, Overcome Destructive Behaviors and Habits and Professional Development. http://www.pahypnosiscenter.com

To request an interview or for more information, please contact Catie Dolgos at (724) 934-8446 or via email at hypnosismarketing (at) comcast (dot) net

Advanced Hypnosis Center Announces November is National Stop Smoking Month

Advanced Hypnosis Center Announces November is National Stop Smoking Month

Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) November 2, 2006

“November is National Stop Smoking Month and our goal is to help 100 people quit smoking during November,” says Karen Marshall, Clinical Hypnotherapist and founder of Advanced Hypnosis Center of Tempe.

Hypnosis patients are more than twice as likely to quit smoking. According to a University of Iowa report, in 600 different studies involving 72,000 people across America and Europe, hypnosis was three times as effective as nicotine replacement methods and 15 times as effective as trying to quit alone.

“If you feel like you have tried everything and just can’t seem to quit smoking, perhaps it’s time to try hypnosis,” says Marshall.

“About 29% of the population smokes, and of those, 70% are looking for a way to quit. Even if someone has tried and failed to quit in the past, with hypnosis, they can finally be free from the addiction,” says Karen Marshall.

“Hypnosis helps reprogram the subconscious mind, which is the seat of all behaviors, including habits and addictions. It’s completely safe, reliable and quick. Everyone with normal brain functioning can be hypnotized,” Marshall adds. “90% of our patients quit smoking with just one or two sessions. The only requirement for getting therapeutic results is that the person has a conscious desire to change, or in other words, is in agreement with the suggestions.”

Individual sessions are twice as effective as group sessions. People are individuals and different people smoke for different reasons. All of Advanced Hypnosis Center’s programs are one-on-one, private and customized to individual needs.

How does it feel to be hypnotized?

“During hypnosis, you are not asleep, but rather in a state of consciousness somewhere between awake and asleep. You are completely aware of everything that is occurring in the surrounding environment as well as what is happening in the inner mind. You are in control the whole time, and you cannot be made to do anything that would violate your morals or your values. It’s fun, relaxing, and an efficient method to make important health and behavior changes,” she adds.

As a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Karen Marshall is a member of the Arizona Society for Professional Hypnosis and can be reached at 480-231-1101 or on the web at http://www.AdvHypnosis.com.

PA Hypnosis Center and The City of Pittsburgh Announce January 4, 2010 as World Hypnosis Day

Dan Vitchoff, PA Hypnosis Center

Warrendale, PA (PRWEB) January 4, 2011

January 4th 2010 is a historic day for the City of Pittsburgh and the profession of clinical hypnotism as Mayor Luke Ravenstahl proclaims it World Hypnotism Day! The proclamation states, “The City of Pittsburgh acknowledges the therapeutic and medical aspects of hypnotism, and supports the work of Pittsburgh area board certified hypnotists.” This year marks the 6th annual World Hypnotism Day and with this year’s mayoral proclamation it further helps to solidify the creditability of Pittsburgh area clinical hypnotists.

Local Board Certified and Licensed Hypnotherapist, Mental Training and Performance Coach, Daniel S. Vitchoff is responsible for bringing World Hypnotism Day to Mayor Ravenstahl’s attention. Vitchoff, President of PA Hypnosis Center explains “The main objective of World Hypnotism Day is to inform the public of the benefits that hypnotism offers and this proclamation from Mayor Ravenstahl lends a great deal of credibility to our profession and the work that we do to help people overcome personal obstacles on a daily basis.”

Many people still possess misconceptions about hypnosis based on what they’ve seen on television or in the movies. People are unaware that The American Medical Association has approved use of therapeutic hypnotism since 1958 and it can help people lose weight, quit smoking, reduce stress and anxiety, sleep better, improve sports performance and overcome personal obstacles.

The PA Hypnosis Center will be hosting an Open House on Saturday, January 8th from Noon until 4:00PM to give the general public an opportunity to receive a free consultation and discover how hypnosis can help them improve their health and quality of life. Reservations are required, so please call 724-934-8446 or visit http://www.pahypnosiscenter.com to register for this life changing event.
